The McElhill Engineering Ltd Reaper Saw Head is a precision circular saw attachment for excavators, designed and built in Fermanagh for contractors who demand clean, controlled cutting through hedgerows, scrub and heavy vegetation. Available in two sizes — the Reaper 600 for 4–8 ton excavators and the Reaper 900 for 10–14 ton excavators — both built to order with a custom headstock matched exactly to your machine. Every Reaper comes with a Hardox steel blade included, and when that blade wears down, we restore it for you rather than asking you to replace it.

The Reaper Blade Re-Tipping Service — Available from McElhill Engineering Ltd

Every Reaper Saw Head comes with one Hardox steel blade included. When the teeth wear down from use, bring the blade back to our Fermanagh workshop rather than replacing it outright.

For rough cut blades, we weld new teeth back on. For fine cut blades, we recut the teeth back into the blade — a more precise process that restores the blade to full working condition.

Every blade is made from Hardox steel and manufactured in our own Fermanagh workshop — which is what gives us the knowledge and capability to restore them properly.
